Hopkins Backup Sensor System Installation - 2006 Chrysler Town and Country- Video

Today, on our 2006 Chrysler Town and Country, we'll be installing the Hopkins Back Up Sensor, Part Number HM60100VA. To operate the back up sensor, we'll simply put the car in reverse and back up to a stationary object. Notice the audible beeps will start signalling approximately at 5 1/2 feet, and as you get closer to the stationary object, will increase in beeps until solid. Our first step to begin our install is to mount the license plate bracket mount and sensor system. To do this, we're going to go ahead and set it in place and see where the sensor system wire will need to go through the back of the rear hatch. Now that we have an idea, we're going to go ahead and open up the rear hatch and remove the interior panel covering the inside. Note there are multiple fasteners that will need to be released. We'll have some screw fasteners and push pin fasteners. more
